Douglas C-74 Globemaster s/n 42-6540 c/n 13916 built in 1946 identified by its buzz number CN-405.
This airframe, the third delivered, flew very little as it was diverted for static test duties (to destruction!) following the crash of the second aircraft (September 1945).
