A giant radioactive octopus terrorizes the Pacific, ultimately attacking San Francisco.

Martin PBM-5 Mariner

Used to search for the survivors of a ship the octopus destroyed. Later, the same plane or one like it is used to search for the octopus in San Francisco Bay.

McDonnell F2H-1 Banshee

Several are shown taking off from an aircraft carrier to search for the octopus.
