Curtiss P-40 Warhawk
Flown by the Tuskeegee Airmen during the first half of the movie. The CGI and mock-up planes are the P-40E whereas the real planes seen in the movie are P-40N. The latter was also used as a stand-in for the P-40E in the movie Pearl Harbor.
North American P-51C Mustang
Seen during the opening battle used as fighter escort for the B-17s.
North American P-51D Mustang
Resquested by Colonel Bullard and used during the second half of the movie as the replacement for the older P-40s.
Messerschmitt Bf 109 G
Used throughout the whole movie by the German Luftwaffe.
