An expatriate American living in Madrid, former Air Force pilot Lloyd Tredman (Robert Taylor) is haunted by his memories of the Korean War and refuses to fly. So when he loses his last dollar on a horserace fixed by a smuggler, he forces himself to accept a $25,000 offer to transport a box of contraband currency from Egypt to Spain. But as Tredman makes the return flight home, he discovers his cargo also includes heroin as he races across the Mediterranean with Interpol hot on his trail.

Vultee BT-13B Valiant

Registration N53317, c/n 91278.

Beechcraft D18S

False Egyptian registration SU-AAC. Maybe N80356 which appears in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof?

Cessna 150

Grumman TBM-1C Avenger

Grumman TBM 1C Avenger N9394H (BuNo. 46122) wearing fictitious code F-939H. This airframe was already seen in On a island with you (1948) and in Thunder in the east (1953).
A French fighter is intercepting the Beechcraft, an Avenger acting as what should be a Grumman Hellcat ... But French Avenger and Hellcat were painted in dark color (Night Blue if used by the navy or dark ) not such a light one.
