Serial 43-48... : this is one of the 738 Douglas C-47 Skytrain (A or B) from three batches built in 1943/1944. Note the three antennas over the cargo door denoting a later modification (RC-47D ?).

Douglas C-74 Globemaster
Not just archive footage, but a rarity!
Douglas C-74 Globemaster s/n 42-6540 c/n 13916 built in 1946 identified by its buzz number CN-405.
This airframe, the third delivered, flew very little as it was diverted for static test duties (to destruction!) following the crash of the second aircraft (September 1945).

Three Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star wearing buzz number FT-705 and FT-291 and FT-109 denoting a (late) footage (P-80's buzz number were PN- then FN- before FT-; P-80 renamed F-80 in November 1948).
