Antonov An-24 or An-26
The filming of the second attempt for the round the world trip was in South Africa with a press meeting near the aircraft use by Amelia with Putnam close to her while she's standing on the wing.
A travelling shot focuses on the Lockheed but sharp eyes could guess an (anachronistic of course !) Antonov (An-24 or An-26 ?) in the background (bottom : outlined in red).
Maybe Antonov An-24RV (reg. TN-AHH) of Aero Fret Business ?
