After several years, FBI-Agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) is able to arrest the terrorist Castor Troy (Nicolas Gage), but with Troy beeing clinically dead. Archer finds out that Troy has planned a bombing within the city of Los Angeles and only his brother, Pollux Troy (Alessandro Nivola), knows the place of the bomb. Archer decides to undertake a special operation to get Castor Troy's face to talk to Pollux Troy. However, Castor Troy regains consciousness again and takes Archer's face.
