In 1990, Spruce Goose was on display in a very large geodesic dome in Long Beach, California. In 1991, Disney (actually owner of the dome) notified The Aero Club of Southern California (owner of the flying boat) that the company wished no more to display the Hercules. The move was in 1992 and took 138 days to reach McMinnville, Oregon, where a new museum had been built to house the H-4, now surrounded by some twenty aircraft : the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum.
