It's clearly a film about aviation even if seen under the fictionnal way.
Don't forget that if Jules Verne and Clément Ader have imagine future air war at the end of the XIXth century, in 1909 aeroplanes are just 'taking off' (in 1906, the first world flight distance record is set at 220 meters; the first kilometer is done at the eve of 1908 and the first flight of over 100 km in line will be made only in 1910).

I hope this will not against the rules.

It's easy to find this movie on the web (despite british, the copy for the german market is the easier to be found. It's too the shortest -only 6 mn 41 instead 11 mn or even 20 minutes of the original copy-).

Sorry to have written a mistake !
In 1909, several 'aviation' movies have already be shown to spectators. Just think to Georges Méliès ones... (relative pages coming soon).
