Multiple manufacturers

At the moment, Categories are titled such that they reflect the latest manufacturer of the aircraft. Is this the best way? Obviously this keeps the site up to date and most current however there are equal arguments that the original manufacturer should be used as this will not change, whereas the latest company my be bought out etc yet again, so they would have to be changed possibly multiple times.
