Additional Gazelle screenshots

Cheers for the extra shots. You can now see the Reg is N341AH. Couple of tips:

• American N-numbers are always 'N' followed by a group of numbers then letters; they're never mixed.
• More often than you'd think the registration is linked to the aircraft model. In this case: Aerospatiale designation SA 341 - N341AH; Westland model number AH1 - N341AH. Occasionally a coincidence but more likely chosen for that reason.

These little bits can help distinguish a registration if unsure. Trial and error in the FAA Database also works.

Wrong Gazelle?

This page - http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N341AH.html - claims that Westland Gazelle Reg. N341AH, Serial 1208 was built in 1984. How is this possible? Well, apparently, there were two American-registered Gazelles with the registration N341AH: http://www.rotorspot.nl/n-5.htm lists a Sud-Aviation Gazelle Registration N341AH, Serial 1032 and lists it as canceled/fate unknown. I think that is the Gauntlet and Cat from Outer Space Gazelle, unless the Airport-Data.com's page claiming a manufacture date of 1984 is wrong. - Kooshmeister
