Staggerwing listed below at left.

Its second appearance is when Bugsy does fly with it to the building site.

Its third and final appearance is at the end of the movie when Bugsy flies from Las Vegas to L.A. to meet his doom.

Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing

At left.

Piper J3C-65 Cub

Possibly registration NC6515H, c/n 19701 built in 1946.

Boeing-Stearman Model 75

Sikorsky S-42B

Reg. NC16735 Sikorsky S-42B c/n 4208 of PAA-Pan American Airways System built in 1936. Named Bermuda Clipper, then Alaska Clipper, and finally Hong Kong Clipper II before it was destroyed on 8 December 1941 at Kai Tak Airport during the Battle of Hong Kong.
This footage is used to illustrate the exiled Lucky Luciano's arrival in Cuba for the mob summit where Bugsy is condemned (in 1947) ... which is a historical inaccuracy, since the 10 aircraft built had all been destroyed by then (the last 3 having been dismantled in 1946).
