Stinson Model A seen in The Riddle of the Stinson.
The Stinson Model A was a three engine commercial airplane for eight passengers with a fabric-covered steel tube fuselage (instead the stressed-skin of contemporary Boeing 247 or Douglas DC-2).
Thirty-one aircraft built between 1934 and 1936. Only one survived in the USA being rebuilt from a derelic airframe (1979-1988); another one is a non-flyable replica built in 1987 in Australia for a TV movie.
This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Stinson Model A.
