Beginning of 1990s. Maciek a budding journalist has to do reportage about the stock exchange. There he meets a mysterious, but successful broker Max, who quickly "infects" him with passion for making big money in quick, but not always honest way. Soon Maciek becomes addicted to playing the stock market…
