Hawker P.1052 or P.1081
These two prototypes were built for trials with swept wings (and eventually, those 'ultimate' Sea Hawks led to the Hawker Hunter).
The first prototype (P.1052 with serial VX272) made its first flight on 19 November 1948. It was removed from service in September 1953 and is now part of the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton, Somerset, England.
If this is the P.1081 (VX279), footage was shot between the 19 June 1950 and the third of April 1951 (date of destruction in a flying accident).
Although the aircraft makes a slow roll, the editing is made in such a way that the lower surface and the serial are not visible.
