Registration 9M-MRO, c/n 28420 built in 2002. Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Beijing, China disappeared mid-flight over open water. There were 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board.

Registration N571UP, c/n 35668/1393 built in 2007. UPS Airlines Flight 6 crashed on 3 September 2010 shortly after departing Dubai International Airport due to an uncontained cargo fire filling the cockpit with smoke. Both pilots were killed.

Registration 5B-DBY, c/n 29099/2982 built in 1997. Helios Airways Flight 522 crashed into a mountain on 14 August 2005, north of Marathon and Varnavas, Greece, while flying from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Athens, Greece. A lack of oxygen incapacitated the crew, leading to the aircraft's eventual crash after running out of fuel. All 121 on board were killed.

Registration F-GZCP, c/n 660 built in 2005. Air France Flight 447 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on 1 June 2009. All 228 passengers, aircrew and cabin crew aboard the Airbus were killed.
